Choccies for All. One of my former drinking buddies wants to come over today. He offered to do some home repairs for me, but I just cannot drink. I have no desire to be sick again for days. It's like Florida Boy said, "The hangover lasts way longer than the buzz" I still have not had word on the Memorial services for my Aunt, so thing are kind of up in the air anyway. I am going to the Food Pantry this morning, and then I am taking my friend to watch her son play soccer. I will go to AA either this afternoon or this evening. Christopher moved out yesterday. Sunny here ..... so today my brother is coming by to help do some repairs on the house.
he too drinks but was dry since December. but the other night he went out and drank beers. he told me that he was interested to see if having some beers would "start the motor running again". I told him it was a "scientific fact" that it would. He does not understand the nature of alcoholism and I don't want to be too pushy. Hope he gets it this time.MattComment
