    Ignore lists

I just discovered how to use this feature: if you put someone on your ignore list, you will see that they have posted, but you will not see their message. I think if more people used this feature, there would be fewer arguments. The arguments continue because people want to prove they are "right" and it goes nowhere, just creates more discomfort. Once you know you don't like/agree with an individual's views, you don't have to read their posts! I am in favor of peace on the boards, live and let live. I state my thoughts, don't respond when someone disagrees.

I find the ignore feature very annoying because I don't even want to see that those on ignore have posted. Then I feel compelled to read their BS. Just my $0.02.

                      Ignore lists

I wish there were more filters on this site than just "ignore"-- I mean filters you could use "as needed".

For example, some days, I definitely could use a "humourless" filter. Zenstyle, you'd obviously make it through, but a good many would be strained out and spare me a lot of pain and depressive thoughts.

I'd also like to see a "judgemental" filter, and a "I know best" filter.

The only thing I don't want filtering the posts is an anonymous moderator, one of our fellow struggling or recovered colleagues, as is apparently the case now. Thanks for that, but no thanks.
Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life... And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.
