Was looking at earlier threads and 1 2 many, I can relate. I also live with, what I think you refer to as a "gobshite".....that brings me to a ?......this is day 7 for me and I have felt like every emotional nerve in my body is now on the outside of my skin....I actually thought of just taking one drink because at least when I drank I wasn't a raving maniac...just a blob....how do we relearn to control our emotions...or will I?

Day 7? Thats great! You will feel very emotional Red. It takes time to get yourself back to functioning properly. Yes, I think we can learn to control our emotions. But we have to allow ourselves to feel them first

Good morning troops!

I made it through last night AF.. Yayyy! Actually, it was absolutely NO biggie at all. How utterly ridiculous to fret over drinking/if/when/how/blablahbla in the first place. Shows I still have a looooong way to go.

Again, by the time I get here there's way too many pages to catch up.. did I miss anything important? I try to skim through as best as I can. Sea.. whaddaya mean 'She's a true Gemini'??? Why does everyone always pick on Geminis? Can you tell, I am one? :H

In a few minutes I will start the coffee IV for Mr. Wonderful - according to his instruction manual he requires 0-negative coffee.. heheheheh. Saturdays and Sundays are cold coffee in bed days. Mind you, we will have to cut it short today; I'll have to leave at 11:30 here. Picking up my barn owner friend, going to a friend of hers for lunch and then we will be attending a 'Fantasia' party. I had to let her educate me since I had no clue what a Fantasia party was. Apparently, sorta like Tupperware (probably even some plastic) but more like a girlie lingerie and sex toy affair. :H I'll let ya know what I find and bring home!
