    Army Thread Monday 16th Feb

    Just a quick Hello Gang
I have to hit the shower and go to my Aunt's funeral. I am then picking up my dog to come and spend a couple of days with me. I think that I told you all that I have a new sponsor. She has me checking in with her by telephone twice a day and she is meeting me at a meeting tonight. She is very nice. I will make some Job calls when I get home. I hope all are well today. I missed the prayer service last evening as I was at my Aunt's wake.

Today will be a big Drunk fest for my family. Irish Catholic funeral. I would rather pick up my doggie and hang out with my Sis for awhile.

Oney, did you go out more when you were drinking?
I might have done a bit, but I was still pretty reluctant I think...

Thats great to hear Oney, I guess if you were suffering from depression, then maybe nothing would be able to lift you?

I went to bed and put my hand on my heart, closed my eyes and said a prayer. Had a real feeling of being somewhere else. Somewhere warm and there were birds singing. This may sound strange, but it was a very warm, comforting feeling. My clock stopped at 12.40 too. The battery was still making the clock tick, but none of the hands moved. I wonder if this had any significance. And my laptop suddenly not working.
