What a great idea Evie. I am in day 10 so it's still early days for me. I have just started to wear clothes I have had for ages as they now fit. The drink must have taken up a fair amount of room. I am going to have a sort out and feeling more organised can also feel more i control. Thanks for the idea. Caroll

Great going on 10 days Caroll, It just keeps on getting better and better...
The song "I feel Pretty, oh so pretty. i feel pretty and witty and wise" has been playing in my head all day as I neatly fold an organize my old treasures and now I am getting ready to take "load one" to the thrift shop...maybe I will have a look around while i am there...lavender and Aqua will be my new colors for spring...What colors are you thinking of ???

Before I became his 'hapless' drunk, I used to made up and wear nice clothes and do my hair, nails and stuff. Then I became drunk, wore tracksuit bottoms and did not even brush my hair at times. REally resembled the bag lady. Balooned in weight and my skin just went blotchy and bloated. I want to get rid of all my 'drink clothes' too and begin to put clothes on that make me feel attractive to myself. I shall clean out my closet. I am with you on this.

OK, Today I am gonna tackle the linens. I have sheets that are still usable but don't feel comfortable to me anymore...
There are some that remind me of the countless sleepless nights trying to get sober...restless nights of tossing and turning...sweeting like a pig and probably smelling worse than a pig...
Out with the old...IN WITH THE NEW !!!
