Yeah, he did Cy. He was only around 23 years old. Totally sucks. Hate Heroin; took Layne, Kurt, my best friend, and countless others.

We bought some old Mah Jung game board tiles in different colors and saw them up and then hand carved them and laminated the pieces together...we are always looking for old game board pieces, knife handles, buttons etc. ..bakelite is almost indestructible and carves like stone.Will is carving some Owls out of an old knife handle today..
I love to use the time that i used to waste drinking to make something creative and useful...Such a better thing to do with my time that killing myself with the AL.

The owl is my animal totem Evie. I love Owls. Did you see my daughter's tatoo of the "family tree"? She has all of our animal totems tatooed on her.

Oh, yeah. She just had the tatoo finished a couple of days ago. She added her brothers' initials and had some pumpkins added to the bottom of the tree.

Owls are Will's totem too
When we were first together a nest of owls were right outside our bedroom window. we would lay in bed and watch the Mom and Dad owls feed the babies...it was wonderful..
Now Will's love call to me is the gentle wooting sound that those owls made...it makes me weak in the knees..
i didn't see Ems tatoo...she is a beautiful and gifted young woman...you should be very proud of her....I know these years are tough but i see the 2 of you having long healthy happy lives and being close forever...
