I thought I was cured and did not need anyone
I thought I was cured and only needed the sun
That shines on me in my darkest hour
But I was a fool I could not see the power
Of alcohol

I was stupid for I am floored
For all those wishes I made were ignored
I thought that was it never drink anymore
Then the demon came - he told me 'ignore'
Just take alcohol

So I did, but did not feel better
I want to be cured right down to the letter
I want to be free from curse and despair
Guess what I found a website that does care
But alcohol does not.
