Yeah, I know a few on the east coast, and me way in the panhandle............one in GA, but I don't really think she'll be able to make it, like P4T said, just depends on the day of the week mostly, Jacksonville is about the same distance, maybe less, than Tally to Orlando...........I have no preference where, would LOVE to get away, and just cannot miss work, except MAYBE a Friday if I know ahead of time, or the 2nd Fri of every month I have off (for now) I just got home for the day today.......................can't wait, let's really plan this!!

I live in Jacksonville..... works for me!!! Its a huge city with lots to do and lots of great restaurants as well, not to mention the beach. Today is 79 degrees and easy, breezy sunshine

Jacksonville is very far from Sarasota, is it not? Caysea, Roger and I will be in Sarasota. Is there a halfway point or something where We All can meet? I would love to meet all of you. We also need to pick a day April 2-7. I will be flying on the 1st and the 8th. I really do hope that this comes together.

We Canadian's must be extremely introverted - as I haven't heard of any meet ups here AT ALL.

I think Orlando might be a good central meeting point for those in north and south FL, but you guys make the call b/c I am not sure if I can make it at all depending on hubby's travel schedule. If he is gone, I cannot leave Jax. I think some people from Georgia were wanting to come too, so that is why Jax was suggested I think as it is two hours from Tallahassee and south GA, and it is also close to Evie.Lou. (I am thinking Sarasota is about four hours from Jax, but not completely sure)

Let me know whatever you guys plan and I will do my best to be there!

I think Orlando would be best for everyone, not too difficult for me to get to either and if we room up and share some costs (individually preferrenced of course) it will be affordable, my kids will probably want to come, hope Mike will stay at home and work, he does every other weekend, PLEASE just let's have it on Fri-Sun if possible!!!lease:lease:

I'm hoping and working. Have so many plans thru March and April, and some med probs, I'm just waiting to see where things work out. I have family in Jax, my bro has a place in PCB, but I'll be driving alone. Lots of friends with houses thruout the area, so let me know def time and place and I will do my darndest! If it's spring break and Hubs can't come I may bring an older g'daughter for company.

If you guys are looking at Orlando, you might want to check out "ROOM SAVER, discount coupons" on the net. We go to Orlando all the time and LOVE the "OLD TOWN" area...It's just 3 miles from Disney entrance and with coupons you can get very nice newly remodeled rooms for around $40. a night.
There are so many fun things to do and great places to eat.
