              Angel,

It was a hard decision for me, but I basically looked at it from the perspective that I was going to turn 40 regardless. Out of my control. But what I realized, is I did have control over whether I had a degree or not by my birthday.

Well I do not have my degree quite yet, but will have it before my next birthday! So I met my goal.... a degree at 40.

I say GO for it! It is so rewarding.

Hey Peace - I'm starting a teaching degree next week. Distance learning from an Australian University. I need to approach schools in Singapore about doing a short teaching practice, but am looking forward to it! When do you start?

Good for you Peace. I went back to college when I got sober at age 28 and got my Bachelor's degree and Nursing license at age 32. I went back for my Graduate degree in my late 30's. It is never too late and it was a great gift of sobriety.
