        Hi Rubes. Ive never seen a tornado, but would love to if i was in a safe place. Have a real fasination in bad weather. Storms etc.

          Unfortunately we don't see them till it's too late! About 10 days ago there were 9 in Georgia, 1 killed, millions in damage. Someone I know in a nearby community lost his house. This time of year they are real killers.

                The most ive seen is the film Twister Rubes. They are so destructive. Must be awfull to be caught up in one.

                  We have a special place my g'children call 'the troll hole'. The only really safe place is completely underground. And they DO sound like a freight train - I've heard one before.

                      It's scary that you cannot predict them or their path at all. And the destruction is incredible. Usually the sky gets very black, and there is hail, and that's how we know one is in the area. During the last one the hail was the size of a softball. Really hell on cars!
