Okay, you guys are just too clever for my alcohol addled brain -- how do you do it? I thought alcohol killed brain cells -- not jumpstarted them -- you'll prove the experts wrong !

Let's see... where am I from? I think I'm the only Kiwi (New Zealander) here. Sigh... :-( Been here three years. Originally from the good ole US of A -- in fact a direct descendent of George Washington (or so I'm told by my now deceased grandmother who was a member of the DAR -- so got to believe her, right?). Lived in pretty much all of the Western States.

Would love to know if there is anyone else here from NZ????

P.S. Have been on this program for almost a year now and it's awesome!!!!

So far as I know ancestors are Irish - English - father's name last name was Berry - don't know too much about him - he bolted early on. Mom's last name was Joyce - wasn't there a famous drunken Irish writer by that name? LOLOL Any hoo - born in good old Nashville, TN - migrated to Wichita, Kansas with step dad and Mom as a mere babe, grew up there and migrated to Omaha, NE after school (thought it would be an "adventure" boy was I naive!) Kept marrying Nebraska boys and here I am 33 years later and loving it! This is very interestin'!

With my Grandfather's advice in my ears, "Girl, don't shake that tree too hard."

On Mom's side, Irish/Welsh and Native American. Her mother's father was from Wales and was a translator for the Chocktaw Nation. (Gramps' mom was Potowatomi--Okema Reservation, Gram was Cherokee, Broken Bow). Dad's Irish/English and Chocktow. Me? Grandparents were DustBowlers, parents native Californians so I was born and raised in sunny SoCal dontchaknow and like, uh, moved to Connecticut via Colorado and Maine. (Musta missed the mall exit :H)
