Evie, is there any way bygones can become bygones with your brother seeing as he's so sick? Maybe if you make the extra effort to talk so you'll have a clear conscience? (I guess that's a bit of a selfish way of looking at it...)

I am praying that he will let me back in his life so I can be there for his kids as he is passing. i had my last slip in Oct. when i rushed to him after he was admitted to the hospital. Then his Dad (my step Dad) passed in Dec and I could bring myself to go to the funeral...I was afraid of another slip. I feel much stronger now and don't worry about that anymore but then I was too vulnerable. This is why he won't speak to me. I have called him and he had his 8 yr. old daughter tell me that he would call me if he wanted to talk to me...
Why he has to drag her into this I will never know but I am afraid to call again. I am at a loss of what to do ??? Thanks for caring.

I think I will wait until late tonight when his daughter will be in bed...i am not even sure that he is at home..I got an Email from an EX GF of his saying that he may have to be hospitalized...i think I will try to call tonight...Thanks..

A big hello to ya all. Had a great meeting tonight. Feel I got alot from it, and im so glad I went. I learn every time im there, and am meeting more people with this disease, who honestly care each time. 9.30, and only on page 5! I wonder why! I was thinking today. Will the 3 musketeers call themselves by there real names or there MWO names.

Cymie, when Krigs & I met it was hard for us to call each other by our 'real' names! These are the names that are real to us. I haven't had time to read today's posts; went and signed contract on last tenant property with lovely young couple who are SO excited about finding our beautiful little cottage, and landlords willing to work with them on the move-in fees. We're $600 richer tonight, but grumpy Hubs complained because I spent $43.00 at the discount store on some 'non-essentials'. I am not a big shopper. I am a smart shopper, but he is such a control freak he can't help himself. Unfortunately for him, I have pointedly pointed this out to him this afternoon. I know, bitch, bitch, bitch, but he's been home round the clock for 4 days!!! Somethings got to give!!!
