[Wish Upon a Star]

Morning all. I got my Budgie his name is Coops (after Cy's all time fav hockey player, Ian Cooper) he is a blue and white Budgie with black strips and he is around 4-6 months old. I'm a bit worried as he hasn't eaten anything since we got him yesterday afternoon and he hasn't moved off his swing all night. Anyone have any suggestions of how to get him to eat?

Wonder how Oney, Limey and Starts first night together went. I bet they are getting on great. I can't wait for them to sign in with an update.

Morning all to come. I have a real lack of motivation this morning. Feeling happy enough, but a bit lazy!

Hey Wishy.. hope you have some good budgie seed and.. if he is a boy budgie he will love it if you talk to him. If you have more than one budgie they generally ignore you, but if you have only the one he will want company so just keep talking to him and he should come round.

Thanks ficks, I only have the one budgie and he is male. We have talked to him non stop since we've had him and he definatly takes notice of us. I have had my hand in the cage and he seems ok with that although a little scared. Just going to take things slowy with him. X

Yep we have a mirror but I've read that he may think its another budgie and then ignore us, is this true?

Good Day Army
Wishy I had two budgies. I loved them. One lived 13 years, and only died after his mate of 7 years died. He will adjust and feel at home in no time.
So sorry about Wales Cy. I did not see the game. My AA meeting last night was filled with reminders of what will happen to me if I continue to drink.
You all know about the woman that I pick up for meetings. She looked very yellow last night, in the whites of her eyes and her skin. I did not know it, but she has Cirrhosis. I am planning to go to the Seacoast today to meet with my Sis and have a consult with her hairdresser; see what they can do with this hair for my interview on Monday. I am nervous because my hair is very long and I know that my Sis will try to talk me into cutting it all off. We are expecting a Nor'easter just in time for my long drive to the interview. Ugh!!
