raining and grey here .... heading for a high of 16 degrees. I've got three layers of clothes on and fluffy socks. Pan - I DONT want to know if you go to the beach today okay??!!
Just listened to a radio interview with NZ firefighters in Victoria ...... they said that all is calm at present, but they are on tenterhooks.Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn

Hi all - thanks for stating Pan.
It's quite sunny & warm up here...I just baked a cake & having a piece (still warm) with a coffee...it's the little things.
I've also just put the finishing coat on some paintings I did for Mr Cake's cousin who's just had a baby - they're v.cute - a giraffe, a zebra & a lion. Good to get them finished & I can send them off to Aussie now.
And I'm getting my portfolio together (I'm a dressmaker) so clients can see my previous work when I get inundated with enquiries!!
Anyway, I will not be drinking today - have been feeling a little stressed lately which is when I want to drink. So I just thought I'd put it put there for you guys...no drinking for Angel today.
Love yas all.

Hi Pan, Hi Tawny,
Pan, log onto the Australian Bureau of meteorology where you'll info. I see Tawny has also sent you a website.
Victorian Forecast Areas Map
Are you anywhere near Queenstown, or are you on the north island?

Morning all, same as usual in Singvegas - 32c humid, thunderstorm around 3pm! I envy anyone who gets seasons!
Glad you're all safe and well. Pan, how many days AF do you have now?
Aunty Mame, I'm studying to be a Primary School Teacher. Open University Australia and Curtin in WA have just started a degree which is mainly online, and I can do my teaching practice here in Sing at one of the international schools.
Tawny and Rags, thanks for the links.
Angel - what kind of cake? I'm supposed to be wheat free this week but my mouth is watering!
Have a great day. BxProud to be SLIGHTLY SLOVENLY.:wavin:

Following along behind you with 15 days here ..... a week behind Angel! Maybe when I get to 3 weeks I'll take up baking too!! Angel you sound like your creative juices are flowing!
Rags - both Angel and I in the North Island - her up top (the warm and rainy bit), me down the bottom (the cold and windy bit).
Betty - that is great that you are studying on-line. Am trying to get my partner to think about that as an option.
PAn - enjoy the beach!! Hope you verheated:

Woohoo Panicked 28 days...and Bettalicious are you on day 23??
Bets the cake is a lemon syrup sponge - so easy & so good. No icing or anything & it's kinda like a sweet bread/cake affair. I've eaten too much of it today...
Hey Mame...I'm not AF (just want to make sure I'm not misrepresenting) just had a major bender on the 7th Feb - threw up - and thought "you know what, fuck this, I'm not gonna do it anymore" and haven't since. I had a real shift in conciousness - hence the airy fairy 'old me was shed' I do need to check myself all the time now and I make sure I have at least 3 AF days a week and I'm trying to drink no more than 14 units/week (world health authority advising) mostly successfully.
I'll probably have to go AF for a period soon but to be honest I think I could be the only person in the world that can't do it...!
Rags - how was Sydney??
