      Morning rubes, sorry to hear your still getting pain with your ankle.

      Oney, you can get it from the app stores on iTunes, it may not play on your iPod nano but it should play on your pc.

      Starts, I'll have a look at the training plan when I get home from work and can use my laptop, using my iPod at the mo and the Internet connection is super slow.

        Rubes, its best to talk about it hun, dont bottle it all up. We deal with Oney enough, your problems will make a nice change

            Morning Wishy!...I am very well thanks. Morning Ruby! I hope you both feel better soon. Must admit, I'm a big sook when it comes to pain. You girl's seem to be far more graceful! (thanks for the music interest Rubes, will do when organised). Morning Starter's!

              G, I DO try to focus outside myself, since the problems I have are all about pain. I do have pain meds, but that's just trading a black cloud for a silly fog. What kind of music are you doing now?

                Oh, AL is not an option with my meds. It's one or the other, and since I can't endure another hangover PLUS this crap, it's an easy choice. I don't know how much the AL in my PAST played a role in my probs today, tho.

                  Rubes. I'm making all sorts of music. From country roots sort of stuff, to another project which could loosely be described as instrumental heavy metal hardcore free improvised film soundtrack music, sort of. So lot's of stuff from acoustic to electric, and some even reckon it's listenable. I dunno, i wouldn't buy it!...............

                    G, I don't know if you listen to any country music (I DO, it's MY roots) but years ago I used to talk to a good friend of mine everyday at work about her son's music, and will never forget the day she told me he was moving to Nashville, TN, USA, to try to get a record deal. I told her to tell him 'just remember me when'!! It's a huge gamble, you know, but all these years later, I still visit her, in between the times he sends his jets down to pick her and her dog up for a visit, or to take her on some incredible trip. Just good ole' Alan Jackson, multi-multi-millionaire award winning singer. You never know! When I talk to him, I just shake my head!!

                          Rubes. Cool! The journey is the thing too, isn't it? In music at least, the people, the travel, places, situations you find yourself in etc. Great fun. I like a lot of country music, but i'm kinda newish to it as far as knowing who's who, but the stories, and particularly some of the bluegrass stuff, and musicianship, is great, and inspirational. I like Billy joe Shaver.

                            I am WILD about bluegrass!! Their are pick up bands all over the mountains where I cabin is, and you can hear music every weekend somewhere. Emmylou Harris, my all time fav.

                              Also, try Alison Krauss. She was up for an Academy award for the movie "Cold Mountain", singing with Sting. She used to sing all around our area. A heavenly voice, and great instrumentalist.

                                Good Day Army
                                I am up bright and early. I basically got nothing done yesterday, so today will be busy. It is a balmy 13 degrees Farenheit here today, so really looking forward to going out today. NOT. I will try and catch up on the thread.
