Zen, maybe she won't remember too much of the discomfort. I am SO lucky. My daughter sweeps in and takes over if I have to hospitalized, just like we did with Momma and Daddy. We NEVER left them alone. (A doctor told us that too, to always have a family member present). And my parents were in some of the best known, high profile hospitals in the USA!sigpic

Hello to you all - 'had a quick catch up - everyone seems pretty dam well, which is always SO good to see! Extremely wet weather here, windy and wild - LOVE it, just plodding along down here, got an old friend as a house guest, big surprise yesterday...He is 19 months clean and sober and working 12-step programme - he is also a BLOODY irreverent laugh, it is great to see him!*Serenity is the calm WITHIN the storm*

Just found out Hubs has to work (what a surprise!!!) so I'm going to enjoy my alone time, get my house cleaned I hope, and get ready to go back to the cabin. Kevin (doc) asked me today at my appt if I was staying there much, and after he realized all the crap that was going on with me he 'prescribed' a trip there to rest for a while. Wish I could take you all with me. You could bring me my diet cokes!! LOLsigpic

I may sound harsh but I don't do well with incompetence in the med industry, or with 'their' rules, ultimatums. I know you would feel better if you could just see your Mom yourself, but you are doing an important job looking after things. Your Mom is so lucky to have you!sigpic
