I am so freakin' paranoid now about my doggie babies I am trying to find any other ways to protect them. I can't think of anything right off, since my Will had NEVER seen a hwy or traffic or anything when she got hit. I guess I jiust won't ever trust anyone with my babies again. That's all I can think of to not have anyone else to blame. I'm still hurting, I guess you can tell.

Yes, Betty, I could do with two of those dog slings. One JR on the front and one on the back. At least I'd be able to go for a dip myself with the dogs. I reckon they'd love it. They are not to be trusted off their leads. By the way, the drowning episode has not fazed the little dog at all.

Don't know if we're going to get over to the beach today. We might make it. Sun has all but gone and black clouds are coming over. Still very warm tho. Last I heard we were on Cyclone watch, expected to blow in tomorrow.

And Angel, our dogs are our babies, don't you know... Have a good time tonight if you are still going.

Afternoon everyone.

Kids are home from school, like starving monsters. I am planning a completely AF weekend. I think we may take the kids out someplace on Saturday night to distract ourselves. I am looking forward to feeling great on Monday. Congrats to panicked and sweatybetty on getting those AF days up.

About to turn all computer things off for the night and stick my head into a book for an hour. Funny story - made Angelcake's cake yesterday morning. Ate about half of it but was a slug and left the remaining half on the kitchen bench overnight. Found it this morning on the floor accompanied by an interesting scattering of possum poo. Buggers. Where the hell do they get in?

Hi Tawny, quick study break here (procrastinating). Anything I leave out here gets carried off by ants, and anything they miss the cockroaches have.

G - would you be having a red moustache as well? I dated lots of musicians before I decided on my present husband, (I was a classical flautist), he's so not musical, absolutely no rhythmn, but there must be something about him....

Anything left out in my house get's carried away by me! Betty, i am actually sporting a goatee sort of thing, and whilst i am something of a brunette, parts of goatee have a slightly red tinge ;-) .........Flautist? Cool. We, as musician's, should never take our gift for granted, as i have done in my drunken past.
