Garlando- I use to cringe about the past but I go to AA and that is my stage for letting the past go. When you are stronger, make a list of all the people you have hurt or effected by your drinking. When you feel you are strong enough to express your regret for hurting them, apologize. You'll be amazed how free you feel. You can never change the past but you can change today, one day at a time.

DG that post was excellent and summed up exactly how I feel about cringe times. Have one particular incident last summer which was so horrible I doubt I will forget it but I'd like to think like you say that it will become a part of my past 'when I was drinking'....thanksAF since 19 January with a week's holiday last week. Today is AF day 1sigpic
