    Have Erin, so will prob go down to the park for a bit. Have to phone the elec people cause I had a meter put in last friday, and in a week I have gone through ?35 worth of elec! Thats not right!

          Im all eletric, but just have the one heater, and we turn everything off at night. There is def something wrong.

                  Not that ive seen starts. There are people who have been going to meetings for years though. A guy in my group has been going to meetings for over 20 years and my sponser 8.
                  To be honest, im not really sure, though everyone is given a warm welcome.

                    I am still thinking about it.....maybe it will be my next step. I need to keep sobriety a priority for myself and keep working at it.

                      No. He did the 12 step programme and has been sober ever since. There are those who do, but lots dont do the 12 steps, or dont do them properly.

                        Is he happy with his sobriety? This might sound a daft Q, but some peeps are sober but not really happy about it..

                            I'm off to work now, just spent the last half an hour doing erins make up and hair, she is only 8 but she enjoyed having her makeup done and i enjoyed doing it.

                              Thats a big part of the 12 step prog. Lots of people go to meetings, talk about there problems and stuff going on in there lives, listen to others and go home. I have learned that in my 4 years of sobriety, I was not getting better, I was just not drinking. When it came back, it was worse than ever, and had been building up inside while i was sober. I wasnt happy and content. I just thought I was. Materialistic things made me feel good about myself, but I wasnt happy within. By doing the prog im getting rid os all that shit thats built up inside me. Clearing the wreckage of the past.
                              So, to cut a long story short(!!) he is a man who as he puts it, lives a happy life, free of the wreckage of the past.

                                good morning all,wayto go cy,reading is good isnt it,cy the program doesnt work it for you,you work the program,its a rule book to stay sober just like your sponsor wont keep you sober,your gonna lern a lot,but only you can do the work
