This is a little story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody, and Nobody.

There was an important job to be done and Everybody was sure that Somebody would do it.
Anybody could have done it, but Nobody did it.
Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job.
Everybody thought that Anybody could do it, but Nobody realized that Everybody wouldn't do it.
It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done.

Explains the $500 hammers at the Pentagon, too!! Hubs has people come to him wanting him to write a work order (his time, $75.00/hr) to have one of his contractors take a form down to post on a machine ($50-60.00/hour), when it would take that person 10 minutes ($15.00) to go down and tape up the sign. Go figure!!!

It just defies logic at times Rubes does it not!!

I was actually read this passage by a friend in N/A who has been clean now for over 4 years and he asked me what I thought the story meant. Limers hit the nail on the head as it's what I thought too. Only I can take responsibility for my own recovery/life. At the end of the day it's down to me to do the work.
