Hello again. The beach is calm once more, although littered with bits of twigs and a few other odd items. It's still really windy above sea level, but not on the beach. No more Cyclone Warning or Watch. Hamish is still off shore spinning, but basically gone.

Betty, the only pea thing I have ever heard associated with meat pies is the Adelaide Pie Floater (or something like that) - pie floating in pea and ham soup.

Ha Rags, that's funny. You know my Mum won a blue ribbon in the 'confectionary' section for her coconut ice one year...I don't now what possessed her, I think it was about the 2nd time she'd made it. I certainly don't have that competitive streak as far as cooking goes - I'm gonna put the recipe up tomorrow though (for the cake, not the coconut ice!!!)
Pan - good to know the suns out and the gardens still going!
Ezz - I so hear you...my 4yr old talks & asks questions NON STOP...sometimes my brain hurts just trying to work out WTF he's asking - yesterday it was 'what is fire made of' ummm energy??
SB - I can feel your nervous energy sweets...got time for a nice cuppa chamomile??

Anyway people, we're heading into the pointy end of the week for me tomorrow...see you all then.

Hi Everyone

Hi all,:new:

I am a newbie here but was directed to this thread as apparently there are a few Aussies here, putting up my hand as an Aussie. Was wondering how you guys went finding the vitamin supplements over here? I am trying to find a replacement for the ALL ONE powder and wondering what fellow Aussies have come accross.

Also has anyone tried the program without the meds and if so what kind of sucess did you have? Any advice would be most welcome.... oh and nice to meet you all!
