Hey Starty

Under the apple at the left hand side of the tool bar, select "About this Mac." Then select "more info". A window will open up and tell you everything that is on there. Under "disc burning" it will tell you what you computer is capable of doing afa CD's and DVD's.

You really do have so much on your plate right now..maybe this just isnt the time to think of doing 30 days? I know that might not sound great but you really have so much to deal with. Giving up anything is always going to be tough and there will always be reasons that make it harder. But your circumstances are unbelievably hard right now...
