My own view of the army is its a place for people who want to quit alcohol, and are making a concerted effort to do so. We changed it from AF because some people had some issues with the title and we thought it better to change to the army. I think as army troops(!) we try not to post when drinking or in anyway justify drinking. It is a place of comfort for us alkies to relate to other alkies, who in turn have become friends.

Jewel, They changed the name. I am glad that is settled... I felt very glad that you all dropped the AF part of the army. if i ever drank this would be the first place I would want to come and if it were Af how could I ???
