Woohoo, Friday 13th is O.V.E.R.!!!Feeling much better & big big smoochies to everyone for their support.
I'm gonna see if I can coax Mr Cakes outa bed & get to the French Market - it's this little market in central Auckland, I practice my very bad french with the lady in the bread stall (like all french people she loooves to speak french) They make awesome coffee & the best almond croissants in town.
It's really misty here this morning...I can just make out a boat on the harbour (about 500m away) and the bush on the hill next to our house is shrouded with mist...Noo Zuland is really a beautiful country.
So what's happening people??

Morning Angel. NZ really is an incredible country. I really do hope to move there when im finished here at home. My brother has lived there 5-6 years, is married to a new zealander and has 2 children born there, so I feel a certain part of my heart is there. A very good friend of mine moved there 3 years ago aswell and married. I had some of my happiest months in NZ.

Who knows? Ill wait till she is old enough to make up her mind. It would be very difficult to go if she didnt, but in 10 years time, she will be nearly 19, and so can visit reglarly if she doesnt.

No, Starts not at all close to me. I'm well north of it. An island (Moreton) close to Brisbane is worst affected, but it's now leaking into the Brisbane River as well, I heard on the news. The Sunshine Coast is also in danger, but the mayor there is doing all he can to stop it, against the advice of the government. The owners of the boat lied to authorities about how bad the oil leak was. And now it's disastrous.

Yes, the poor pelicans, turtle hatchlings, even sea snakes. Dolphins have been seen swimming around it, smart creatures that they are. It's certainly wrecked Easter for a lot of people as well.
