I can't keep up with yis - good point One2 but would it confuse things?, it doensn't really matter at the end of the day but it might be easier to scrounge some money out of people here if it's an irish charity.
and no one is worse Hippie than those feckers selling the Big Issue, have they no homes to go to for feck sake
I am really going this time

I count myself one of the lucky ones. I didn't have to spend that much time homeless in London and nearly always had a roof over my head even if it was just a squat. Loved the book though it was really inspiring.

Afternoon all. I've started on my training ready for the marathon in the form of dance. I started it on tuesday and really enjoyed it. Basiscally I just dance with the odd bit of aerobics for an hour, felt great and I managed to complete the whole hour without taking a break which really surprised me. I'm going again tomorrow night and i'm really looking forward to it.
Oney ... hope you manage to get a good nights sleep tonight hun.
Starts ... i'm so pleased to hear your mum is ok.
Hey Hipps and everyone else!!

Hi everyone, another fly by HI from me things are picking up at work thank goodness, all we need to do is hold on for a couple more months.
A suggestion from one in the US, if you don't mind. When picking a charity see if they will take paypal donations from the US. That is one good way to donate from here. I'll bet a lot of MWO people will want to participate.
Hope all are well, I'll check in later.vegan zombies want your grains

Yes, good idea CycleFan and as One2 said there shouldn't be a problem splitting the charities if preferred.
Just being nosey - what book are you referring to One/Hipps?
The dance thing sounds good Wish, I really need to do something other than just walking with the kids and the dog. Rejoined Curves but couldn't stick it the last time so not sure if I will keep that up.
Just eaten a burger with cheese so feeling a bit guilty about that as it's not even my dinner but it was lovely I must say. Dinner will be another hour and couldn't wait
Hi to anyone else still out there

Hey oney did you have that chipper last night??!! I found a Tesco's microwave beef curry in the freezer so saved me money thank god! I've not long been off the phone with SHARP which I wrote about in my update and also spoke to a travel agents earlier too. It seems I will definitely need some sort of photo ID and the only ID I have is a provisional liscense. Apparantly they will only accept FULL driving liscenses. I'm gonna phone the airlines tomorrow as this may differ from airline to airline. Not holding my breath though as the guy in the travel agents seemed pretty sure of his facts.
Love Hips

That's great on your place Hippie, just saw it on your other thread.
yeah, I think you do have to have a passport/full licence as ID for the airlines, not sure about the ferry.

Never thought about the ferry bandit. Christ I live near Liverpool and totally forgot there is a service from here to Ireland. Got a much better chance of stowing away on a ferry than an airline too if I become that determined to get there!!
right I'm off for an early scram tonight as been busy all day tidying (ROFLMAO). I STILL haven't finished!!! Just gotta put a new duvet cover on but I frickin hate doing it as I get all tangled up in the 'web'.lol
Catch ya later.

Hippie, The ferry might be a good bet, they tend to be easier going.
By the way, do you mind telling me the name of that book you were talking about to One earlier?
Good luck with the duvet corner, as in life, just hold onto the corners and you'll be grand!
