    Letting Go of Perfection

    Hijack away Cinders!!
I've never checked my horoscopes on the OM website until now and WOW!!! If only I read them a couple of days ago I could've saved myself some anguish!

Hoping you have a FANTASTIC day.

Hey DeeBee - excuse my ignorance but what is the OM website? - sounds like it could be worth a look and the horoscopes too

Thanks Peacenik, will have a look
Loved your list on the other thread on the things you are glad you have done, good way to look at it, I've done a few pretty cool things myself and I'm off to strangle two of them now for screaming out in the back garden:H

            Letting Go of Perfection

I am also one to be very conscious (self-consious) of what others think of me -- I spend too much time worrying about how other's will percieve what I say and do. There is a book that I am reading Bandy, which has been helping me understand that so much of what I do is my EGO talking and not the essential me.
It is Eckhard Tolle's "A New Earth".

              Letting Go of Perfection

when my mom was going through chemo, and didn't have her hair she wouldn't wear a wig and she never had reconstructive surgery on her breasts and i never thought she looked more beautiful because she was free of the opinions of everyone else...she didn't give a f*ck what anyone thought, she just wanted to live.

she taught us sooooo much with her illness and death.

              peace!

                  Peace,

My mom had a saying that hung on her frig. You might like it...

It also hangs in my office! :h

Great thread, Deebers. Thanks for the post, the link to the daily OM and you've now convinced me to read The New Earth!
