      Gardening Q's and A's

      Hi gardeners!
I just wanted to share that we've having our first "garden" dinner tonight!
I'm shelling English peas...have small red potatoes from the raised bed ...carrots and onions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is very humid here and the gnats are plentiful !
We have had wonderful salad for about two weeks.

      Yipeeeee!!!
I will have to add some fish or chicken for hubby.

      Happy gardening all!

        Gardening Q's and A's

        Hi Nancy,
I have little green things coming out of the ground, but asparagus is the only things big enough to eat.

That nursery you posted, is it local for you?

Here's a link to some very nice little videos:

          Gardening is treatment for depression

I just read a reference to this in one of my gardening magazines. I have always noticed that I don't get sick when I can dig in the dirt, and I do get frequent colds when the ground is frozen. Maybe this is a link.

Sun -please do not get upset with me for bumping your thread. I do believe people have the right to read and learn from you.

By the way, the following statement that you made in 2009 (7 years ago) really does show your true character -I am thankful to know you on MWO:

Initial post made by Sun on her thread in 2009:
                "Hi everybody,
I don't know what I enjoy more: growing plants in a garden, or helping others learn about gardening. I live in the Northeast (western New York), but there are many good resources that cover the country. So fire those questions, and I will do everything to help."

                Thank you Sun!

(Edit: You found a passion -or maybe just renewed a passion, but regardless, you used (and still do) your passion to help others in a very great way. I am quite sure that I am not the only one who thanks you for doing so.)

Spiritfree, I was surprised and delighted to see this pop up. I continue to thrive on gardening. I started my tomato seeds yesterday, I can hardly wait to start digging!

I hope your garden is doing well. I got my peas in today. The weather here has warmed up just this week. Spring is here!
