oh...damn Zen...muscles ofcourse ache on me but are not my major prob.

They recommend lots of painkillers, and not working...(in other words they can't wait to get me off to the orthopeadic surgeon because they don't know WHAT to do with me)

I don't know yet starts, this is all a work in progress....no clear cut answers. It is pretty much a huge fu$%^ng mess....lots ofpain, and no answers.
          I keep plugging away.
I feel alot more positive NOT drowning myself in beer, though it is hard some days.

              Cy,
Glad to hear you have had a good visit with Erin. It must have made your heart soar, hearing her say she wanted to stay on with her Dad

I would definitely give them a go....as far as I am aware, they are trying to find other treatments for chronic pain as Zen is right, and as you know, the pks dont work forever and they have too many side effects

The technology improves every year, for sure.
I would like to avoid surger if at all possibly, I have had 3 already, the last one in 1995 to put two metal rods across the lower back, to try and stablize movement of my SI joint. But I guess that was a long time ago. LOL
Shhhhesh, I am getting OLD :H

                        Army thread 1st April

Oh, I have had surgery before...I have a couple rods in my back...but I have to wait to talk to the orthopeadic surgeon to find out what he/she says about all this mess....I have been referred, waiting to hear from them about it.

My back is too bad Zenners...with the fractured veterbrate, and hardware in there, a chiroprator doesn't want to adjust me...my neck yes...anything else...no :H

I believe about the sauna Zenners...I soak in a bath as hot as I can stand it (I am RED when I get out :H) and I feel GREAT for about half an hour...it is WONDERFUL!

And yes, Chronic pain is a bitch to live with...I hate it. I tried self medicating numbing my pain and depression with booze and well that didn't solve a thing did it :H Now I wait until I talk to the surgeon I guess.

My life has improved getting off the booze though...depression has eased a LOT...and I feel good about myself.
Thanks for caring enough to make suggestions...it means alot

                            both of you
