          I'm back. Cried my eyes out. I've known Pat most of our lives and all I could think of was the good old, wild times we had in our young days. She owned a flower shop, and the flowers at the service were beautiful. She had designed some herself, since she knew this was coming. Her son, and her ex, our dear friend, had some moments alone to reminesce, and that made it better and worse. Oh, Lord, life is dear. Don't anyone take any day for granted. Appreciate every beautiful thing that crosses your path.

            So sorry for your loss Rubes...I understand ...Losing people when they are so young really sucks..
            I kissed the ground here at home..I am so grateful for everything and everyone in my life...DEATH REMINDS YOU OF THAT !!

              Yes, Evie. I haven't been able to express my sorrow sufficiently to you on your loss. I believe you and I know those beautiful spirits have finally found peace and beauty they didn't have in life, but their absence in our lives leave such a space and void for us. We grieve for ourselves, after all, not for our loved ones, because I know in my heart Pat's spirit will live on in her favorite flowers and the beauty of the country life she loved. I wish you peace, too.
