Ouch. I had those issues myself in my younger years. I had to have them "burn" stuff off.

I am still kickin' and alive today, though.

I went through quite a bit of that while "growing up" through my 30s and 40s. At one time they "burned" stuff off. (Nasty, ick..) but it worked. I went for years without issues.

It is sad Jade Goody had to die for so many to check themselves. I was bad about my Pap Smears, too. (Because us women just LOVE to get examined, huh??)

I am grateful you both went and got checked, though.

In my case, my doctor said if I had waited much longer....

So, take care of yourselves and keep the tests up-to-date.

Honesty is the best way to go here zenny, and its good to just say. Many dont. I used to have 2 glasses of wine some nights. Prob was, they were pint glasses.

Good for you Zenny.
I think the most important thing is that we are happy and in control...if you can do both those things its brilliant, and we are all right behind you..
And raising the awareness of the help thats here is excellent too. I know I felt so alone to start..thats horrible..

Im always honest, and you have really come a long way zenny. I dont know you personally, or how you are feeling, but I am/was a chronic alcoholic, and I think you should get some lenghy alc free time under your belt before even thinking of modding. In my experience only, the 2 drinks quickly lead back to where we were before, and the more it happens, the harder it gets. If you can keep to the 2, then wow, and good on ya. But I dont know anyone who has been a chronic alcoholic who has.
