Will and I are both officers in our local gem club and both gemologists...We spent a whole month rock hounding in the SW for our honeymoon.I have some beautiful PINK TOURMALINE from that mine...just sold a piece in my shop yesterday...It is called the Himalayan mine in San Diego county Ca.
It is a famous tourmaline mine that was owned by Tiffany jewelers back in the 1940s. We travel all over the world looking for rocks...we did alot of rock hounding in Scotland for Scottish pebbles.

We asked the rent a car man at Glasgow airport where to find the BEST Scottish AGATES...He drew us a map to find the best Agates in all of Scotland. We followed the map but when we got there it was a restaurant parking lot. We finally figured out that he thought we said Scottish Haggis........LMAO

What shape is the stone? i have some cut into rounds and marquise. We have a metaphysical shop but we have alittle bit of antiques, Book, cards..you name it,Clothes until the city fire marshal said no more.
We carry most anything so we have a good excuse to write off our travels as a business trip. Between that and my working as a platform medium at different spiritualist churches we have a good excuse to travel most anywhere...very convenient right ????

Hey guys. Just a quick fly by. I'm going over to check on Hubs. He's tearing down part of a building but leaving the foundation and roof to store some of our farm equip. He's absolutely PHOBIC about snakes, and there's a big black rat snake residing in the cinder block foundation wall!! LMAO I told him I'd shoot him if he kills the snake - they're great for ratting and keep poisonous snakes away.

I used to go to Key West when my son worked as a peddy cab driver during summer breaks. We might do an Antique show at Miami Beach...if they have a Bakelite specialty show there. will has been learning to carve old vintage Bakelite and needs a big show to peddle his talent. I think Miami Beach has and Art Deco show that would work for him ???Do you live in Palm ???

He'll leave the snake alone as long as the snake leaves him alone. We had one who wouldn't stay out of the pool, lounged around on the steps everyday! He finally had to go. Evie, do you have big skinks down there?

Nothing big like in Naples (we had a 20ft Python under our house there) and copperheads and cottonmouths in our pool...and that was in the city....

Living right downtown in the historic district has it's advantages but animals isn't one of them.
