    Grateful

I've never been more grateful for my sobriety than I am now. I went kayaking today for the first time in two years! It used to be that I wouldn't give up good drinking time to go (fortunately I had the good sense to not go when I was drinking). But this afternoon I paddled around the bay to view mountains, an eagle and otters, and to be at complete peace with who I am today. Ahhhhh.....
    FINALLY -- I'm a non-drinker!!

Isn't that great? We miss so much of living when we're drinking.

Me too MOW! I had that feeling when I stood in the warm sun in a river with my flyrod. I closed my eyes and listened to the sound of the river and the breeze and was so grateful.

            Stillness . . .

I have found that same space in time, relaxing, calm, reflective and in the moment of now.

            Awe inspiring . . .
