Two sides to every story . . .

        Hi ..

Is "she" a friend of yours? (Sorry if I missed something.) I've been a tenant and a landlord. I have to wonder if there's more to her story? If she's a good tenant, it would be silly and/or wrong of the landlord to give her notice without a warning, especially if she had a lease, which I assume she had? Or was it a temporary situation? Also, were those the only people she ever had over, and only those few times? It just sounds a little funny to me, but it's hard to comment not knowing the whole story, etc.

Overall, I think, if I were your friend, I'd just let it go. What good can come of fighting this landlord? And is the landlord the type who would then retaliate somehow, and the situation would just get worse for everyone?

For me, unless there's something I'm missing, I think it would be easier and much less stressful to simply move on (unless she's owed a lot of money, that is) ... and enjoy the new place.

Hope all goes well, and apologies if I misunderstood any of the story.
AF for two years. Slight relapse. Working on it at the moment.
