Good morning all.
Hope everyone managed to have a nice, long and peacefull sleep last night. I slept great, but seem to have woken at 6 today and can't get back to sleep.
Had some dreams about the house I grew up in and drinking jack d last night. How nice it is to wake sober and realize it was just a dream.

I slept beautifully last night thanks.
But yes, I have had my fair share of weird dreams lately..they seem to be based around leaving work and using again...
Scary, but I am soooooo happy that they are just dreams.

Today, I need to focus on losing this weight Ihave put on since quitting nicotine...If I can give up booze, nicotine, and drugs, then SURELY losing some weight is not going to be that difficult.
Why does it feel so daunting though? C'mon Starty, get a grip!!!!

I had my first craving as such yesterday. First in a long time anyway. A friend phoned me before the footie started and asked if I wanted to go to the pub and watch the game. Had me thinking for a bit! But I closed my eyes, asked for the feeling to be removed, closed my eyes for 5 and I was fine. Yay!

I think we need to experience cravings...it will teach us how to control them. After all, its just a feeling where we want something we cannot have. And there will be lots of times in life when that happens. We can apply it to any situation.

I really need to lose some weight too. Must change my diet dramatically if this is to happen. Yesterday I had chicken and dumplings for breakfast!!
