Ooooh ick!! When did that body stop being a temple!
Anyway, made it last night!! It was quite surreal ? didn?t think it would be so HUGE. So anyway, was sitting there with hubby across from me seriously in the land of happy & I?m sitting next to a couple that are drinking water so I?m thinking ?cool ? not the odd one out here?. After 15 minutes discussing how they smoke their own bilton (sort of like beef jerky, I think) I?m now thinking ?please say I?m not this boring!!?. I get to the point of becoming so self-conscious with the whole internal dialogue of victim going on ? you know the one! It?s so unfair, It?s not my fault, I want to be normal, maybe just one etc. And this guy we met about 3 years ago pitches up ? real oddball type, but very sweet, would shag anything standing & I mean anything ? even a tree. Lol! He tips back my chair and kisses me on the forehead and says ? ?ello darlin?, you?re positively aglow tonight! And looky see at all these carbon copies? And I look around and everyone?s the same ? dyed hair either black or blonde, clothes the same type etc ? I?ve been so busy trying to disappear that I?ve forgotten to celebrate my uniqueness! That special thing that?s ME!! You know when one small comment shifts your perspective totally!! Had a ball after that!
Later, there?s this whole show of contemporary art. I paint commission pieces and do some stuff for myself (exorcising demons etc) so I do get contemporary to a point - and there are these 2 pieces. I?m still thinking why!! 1st was a beautiful beach setting, very romantic and peaceful with an erect cock and gonads severed and lying in the sand!?! 2nd was a dappled meadow scene, again very well done with the same, cock and gonads lying on the grass!!? Am I so narrow minded that I don?t get it? I?m actually thinking about what the artist must have felt to paint it & hubby?s saying ?Christ, who the hell would buy it.? Definitely not something for the living room wall. Ha, ha.

Hi everyone! How is everyone today? I've put my patch on and feeling quite positive about the quitting smoking thingy. Just been shopping and bought some strawberries and sweets and stuff to help with the cravings.

Wow, it's quiet here today! My computer crashed so I'm on a new one and getting used to it. My baby Tinker isn't feeling well, or wasn't yesterday, so if she isn't better when she finally gets up we're off to the vet. It SNOWED here yesterday, and was very cold here last night, prob killed some blooms. So many people put out their tender plants on the first warm days and this always happens. Can't wait to get back to cabin but have a few things I've promised to do before I can go. Hope some of you guys wake up soon. BTW, I may have to get some e-mails, phone numbers, and addresses again if they can't be retrieved from my other computer! Back later. Hope your enjoying your package, Cymie!sigpic
