I wish I could send them even FURTHER north, Evie. A lot of them roost on Grimes Nose, the mountain across the valley from us. The locals (they include me!) really don't like them, they're so bossy!

FYI....for all the BRITS in this army.
I 95 is the interstate that all the northern snow birds use to exit this part of the state every spring and return every fall season. It is a freaking traffic jam out there TODAY.
Frog heads are little old people who can barely see over over the stirring wheel but are still allowed on the road...
Our radio station has a frog head alert out right now. One was spotted exiting at Jax...every please be careful..........LOLsigpicEyes on the PRIZE, a SOBER Future !!!

Evie, they are also known as snow birds, as you well know, and how frogs turn into birds is a scientific conundrum! LOLsigpic

Hi Everyone,
I guess Sea is moving to Florida....I think you will like it there, Sea. Have you sat down and made a list of the pros and cons about moving? Friends, family, work availability, climate, cost of living, pay scale, etc. This will help you decide. Another thing to think about.....drs told my husband in rehab that if you are a recovering alcoholic you should not make any big life decisions in the first year (at least) of quitting alcohol. That means no job changes, no decisions about divorce right away, no decisions about new relationships, no moves, no BIG changes while you are new to recovery. I guess the theory is that the stress of quitting alcohol is huge enough without adding something else BIG to the mix...it seems to be a recipie for relapse. I don't know how you feel about making a big decision like that and I don't know if that's true but that's what they told my hubby in rehab (15 years ago) . Hi, Krigs. I've heard that too. But I also have to say I would have to look at HOW difficult the current situation was and which would contribute more to the chance of a relapse.sigpic

We were also told we didn't have to change anything, we had to change everything! People, places, and things that were triggers.sigpic
