The Next Day Thread Wed 15th April

Oh Betty we met a mini greyhound a couple weeks ago...he was gorgeous...actually I'm loving mini dogs lately. We also met a chihuahua that was too cute...the kids are begging for one.

Thanks for the encouragement on the apartment - I figure some families have the Grandparents, Aunties & Uncles in there too...

Hi Angel - I have a chihuahua as well! She's not typical tho, she's brindle and quite broad. If we lived closer you could borrow her.

I really enjoyed the 'teaching reading'course I started last night - I wish I'd known all the stuff I learned when my boys were little. The course is really aimed at parents with kids in local school. I didn't realise that Singaporean children need to be able to read BEFORE they get to primary school as there is no formal reading scheme here. It explains why there is a huge market in study centres and extra tuition in Singers.

I'm enjoying doing something for myself - but its been a long time coming!

yes it'd be very handy to live near you...you can teach the kids to read & we'll borrow your dogs!! We take the neighbours dog for a walk...it works as she works all day...

          Evening all!
I've been drunk in Irish theme pubs in Sydney and Auckland too, and also in Ireland, oh, and in Singer's too!.....And a shining ambassador i was.
Great going on day 3, Ezz and Betty, and stretch those glutes, Angel! I wonder how Pan is going? Hiya Crystal.
Ezz, i hope the fires are contained by now? We had about 4 days of 45c in a row here, in late Jan. as you'd know. The avocado tree in my backyard is burnt from the heat on one side. Not sure if it's still alive or not. It's a big old thing, that's been there for years.
Have a great evening all, and be safe, strong, and happy..................G.
