Oney is back today I am glad to say. I have missed her as I am sure everyone has.
Yesterday I had a great meeting with an outplacement company where I told them of my plans for working in the addiction field as a volunteer with a view to beginning a new career in the future. It went down very well after an intense grilling and the guy playing devils advocate. It really showed me how much I believe in this as I came up with positve responses to all of his queries/arguments. In the end he had to agree that I was more or less sorted and didnt need them anymore. So all thats left for me to do is take advantage of a couple of courses that they run, interviewing skills and CV writing and then I am done.
