        I've been thinking about her since she first hit the public. Now they're asking, makeover or not??? If she wants one, SURE!!!!! If not, leave it alone; if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If she's happy with herself, and her beautiful voice, leave her alone. I hope this wonderful success doesn't make her unhappy, but lets her spread happiness to the world.

          Sounds cheesy, but I loved her spunk -- and can't believe Simon and the other judges actually went for it -- they are so picky (and I NEVER watch Amer. Idol). What a great story, though, especially in these difficult times.

            CS- I am with you. I never watch the show. Not my style until she came along to usurp expectations. I really don't watch because I HATE fake fingernails.

                This was amazing and definitely worth seeing Piers and Simon being gobsmacked when they are such smug judges. She was absolutely wonderful.

                    Thanks so much for the Larry King tip - it's on now.
                    It's the most amazing phenomenon, what has happened. Talk about offering a troubled world a big dose of hope! And what a perfect song that she sang. You can tell that was coming from the depths of her soul.

                            I was going to post the link too (if I could figure out how, lol). Watching this clip moved me to tears on many levels. Susan is just so awesome and what spunk! Piers asked her to have dinner with him in London on Larry King. Did anyone see that? I am so amazed; it is great to have such a feel-good story.

                            It was great to see Simon's jaw drop, too. I'm not an Idol fan, in part because they do make fun of the untalented on the show. I'm glad that Susan made them eat some humble pie.

                              So many talented people living there lives amongst us. Not everyone talented is famous or beautiful by hollywood standards, I think they are even more beautiful they are real people.

                                ocean, Paul has made some CDs since then. I think it was a couple/few years ago, his talent thing.
