Thanks everyone.

I take care of Vivian 3 days a week in her own home. Her daddy works from home and the first couple of weeks were tense - it was a learning curve for everyone - mommy, daddy, my dog, their dogs, etc. I am in the home 8+ hours a day and never make any demands, just do my nana job.

I could absolutely sob if I had missed this opportunity to experience the magic of this child, my husband misses me a great deal, but he has had his own agenda for so long, I don't feel terribly guilty.

Now, if I can learn more words to Mama Mia Vivian would be grateful, because the few I do know makes her laugh out loud! She loves any kind of music except the classical lullabys I have on CD, but she does snooze to them.

However, at my age and my arthritic back I am grateful to go home at the end of the day, but anxious to be back.

The joy of this gig is when I volunteered my 3 days a week the other grandma - goes by GoGo stepped up to do the other 2 days - how could it be better.

I don't know if you have picked up how loving my daughter and son-in-law are. They lived together for 2 years and have been married for 3 years. It is an absolute lovefest when they are together. It is so joyous to be involved in this. I am blessed.
