I am doing a 10k run in Dublin on june 1st With oney and limey and would like to raise money for sean. Maybe it would be possible to raise enough for a deposit on a room?
Marby can u tell me how to set up an account to collect money?

Starty I can certainly help you, the easiest way to collect money is unfortunately by Paypal...I am not keen on them for a number of reasons, but they don't have any real competition and for what you need it for they are the best option.

It can be done almost instantly, so when you get back I will help you if you need help, but it is very simple, you just get some make the button by checking a few fields, then they give you some html code you just copy and paste into a web page, blog, forum or whatever.

Opening the PP is the first thing- open a personal account, not a business one. It only takes a few minutes, but you then need to add a bank account to the PP account to be able to collect your money.

The rest is just simple copying and pasting.
