Last BINGE, LAST DERBY Day !!!

I am fast approaching my 1 yr. anniversary of my last disastrous BINGE. It began at a Kentucky Derby party that I attended. I was all dressed up including the traditional Derby Bonnet and started with some "Mint Juleps"...it ended in a blurr about 10 days later....I then cried out for help to the wonderful people on this site. I was desperate. I really thought my life was OVER !!! I had joined the site in Dec. 07 but hadn't really put effort into it. On that day MAY 14th 2008 BESTY was on line and come to my rescue. She was the first to take me by the hand and help me back up to my feet.
So as I look at this years derby line up...(thru sober eyes) I think I shall put my money on "Chocolate Candy"....even thou he doesn't have the greatest odds, they sure beat the heck out of LAST YEAR !!!

Congratulations EVIE LOU!!!! I know there will be tons of more cheers for you to follow... but just wanted to say, you are definitely an INSPIRATION to me and so many others on here. Sometimes its the ones who have made it, lead without even knowing for so many other hopefuls. Thank you for your courage, dedication, and your encouragement to others.
