Have you had a look around the marina yet? On a nice day it has quite a continental feel about it with alfresco dining and board walks. You can walk right out on the harbour wall and watch boats come in and out. It will be very busy over the Bank Hoiday though.

Just curious, but why did you chose Brighton to return to? I gather you were originally from the Liverpool area?

I think that might have been my 'fault' Blue- I am from there originally although I have not lived in the UK since I was 16. Sean started a thread about leaving the US, and where he would go, and for some reason I felt compelled to suggest Brighton- I think his destiny must be there

Why Brighton?

I chose Brighton because I read that sea air is good for people with lung problems my Grandmother was born in Worthing which is just down the road so when marbella mentioned Brighton it seemed kismet
