Good, as long as you know what to expect...
I know you dont want to, but there are other drugs to help you get through the withdrawal. Ones that might not be as difficult to come off as benzosLiving now and not just existing since 9th July 2008

Thanks Starts, yes I know them as well. But I really don't want brain altering drugs in me at all. In the end you have to come off them all.

I think I missed my calling. I always wanted to be a vet, but was told I wasn't strong enough to handle the larger animals. Then I wanted to be a Window Dresser. Well, that would have been a bad choice. In the end I followed my passion and talent and became an artist.Feb 04 2009 80 days AF.

Hey Ez, you must have gone. I answered your "pissed off" post and sent a PM to you as well. You know I know how you are feeling.
Hey, get your licence to hold up a stop and slow sign and you can do it too. LOL. But very true. You need a licence. WTF when you see these guys?Feb 04 2009 80 days AF.

Morning Pan & Starts & all to come...lovely morning here but winter has set in, it's cooold!!
Was great to see gyco here yesterday but i'm confoosed, is your daughter on the site also Gyco?? I think a lamb roast is in order this week, lovely NZ lamb before we leave.
Pan - I'm soooo glad you're here, don't ever feel like you can only be here when you're 'up'. Cripes, we're a motley crew going through some big things - everyone's always welcome, it's probably more necessary when times are tough, I know I've posted in desperation before & you guys have made me feel better. I love that about people...our differences.
Ezz - hope you got some sleep and you know the drill, dust off etc. You're having some great runs.
Tawny - did you get the walls of your glasshouse up??
Hi G, Betts, Boozy, Crystal & Waving (how was the roast??)

morning all. suprisingly I slept and don't feel too bad today thanks to the 2 bottles of water I drank before bed.
I have yet to head outside to see how much work those guys got done last night. I hope they don't come back tonight because I really like my sleep.
Pan, I know it is not the guys fault. Why wouldn't they get paid double time to work in the night. But they are supposed to give us notice so we can arrange to spend the night elsewhere.

Hi All!
A great day had here. Have been going for a couple of other jobs, (am currently working, but after more stimulation) and was offered one today. yay! Only pt. time for now, but a foot in the door, so cool. Also my birthday, but that's less and less of a big deal as time goes on!
Have a magnificent week everyone!

Hello Ezz. Just read yesterdays thread re your w/kend. Hope you get some sleep tonight, and, if you don't mind me asking, what is your plan for the booze from here?

Hi Mr G.
The last few weeks have been an awakening for me with regards to how I see AL in my life. I don't want it at all, I want to be completely AF, including its hold on me. I need to change the pattern on my life. 6 drinks in 2 weeks might not look too bad on the drink tracker but it feels bad. I get frustrated that I keep reaching the same point. I know what I have to do, and I am going to just do it quietly.
After speaking to 2 different organisations, both of which denied any involvement in the road works, I finally got a promise that it is over. Till next time.
Happy birthday, sounds like you had a good day.

Thanks Ezz, and good you have a direction at least with the al. There was a link posted yesterday, i think, by 'over it 2007'. Was good reading. It may have been 'alcohol and recovery.org' (in general discussion), but i'm not sure. If you didn't read it, i'd recommend you do. Was about getting oneself ready for giving up the booze, and more........
