Angel, you're doing well, keep on rolling!
Guitar, thanks for your wishes.... I'm having more and more sober days... and evenings!
Except, Mr Rags bought some small camping items and now we can't find them which means I now have to go on a 90 km round trip to go get more... What's the bet when I get back home the tube of seam seal and the lightweight pegs will be on the kitchen table!!! I really hate this memopry loss part of groing old! So, am off to town. Oh, and did I mention the clutch went in the car as we were towing last Sunday.... it gets fixed this Thursday....another damned expense we have to find money for. Go VISA!!. There's a cheery side to all this... at least the clutch won't fail when we're in the backblocks of Qld and NSW next week. Catch you soon.

Mr G wash your mouth out...I would never abandon the dark art, it's just that I was doing 3 or 4 classes a week, so I have swapped one/week for said Attack class, it's very hard & very rewarding and it's all about variety. One of the trainers today had the best abs (& body) I've seen in a long time...henceforth I eat salad for lunch!!!!

G - happy birthday! It was my friend's birthday yesterday too and she invited me over for a few wines. I took coffee and confessed to not being able to stop drinking once I start so couldn't join her on the vino. Hence - not hungover and embarrassed today. I think I might get to like this sober-thing very much and it's only day 5!

Morning everyone, Happy birthday for yesturday G - you share your birthday with my middle son, sorry I have'nt been around lately, we had internet trouble but all seems to be ok now. My mum & dad have now gone back to the UK my boys were upset but they are settling down now so its all back to normal in my house now and that goes for the grummpy hubby as well!!! love ronnie xx

afternoon all, great to see so many people on this thread.

Did 2 hours at the gym today and I know I will be very sore tomorrow, in fact I can already feel some pain.

Ronnie - you are seeing your parents again at the end of the year, time flies, the first few days are just the hardest. I won't have seen my mother in 2 years by the time she next visits but I still feel close to them and involved in their lives.
