    Army Thread 6th May

    Good Morning everyone!

Not a bad one here in the UK either, I am hoping we get some sun today too.

I am feeling so much more positve than the last few days, I know life has its ups and downs but what frightens me is getting stuck in a down like before. Coming off the anti depressants is a scary prospect too.
Anyway, today I am going to call the organisation where I sent my application to volunteer a few weeks ago to see if there is any news. The girl I spoke to did say I probably wouldnt hear much until June or July, but I dont think it hurts just to ring for a chat so they dont forget me
I have another course this afternoon which if anything like yesterdays, will be very interesting and it will be nice to mix with the living again
    So, thats me for today.
I hope everyone has a great one!

              Hi Everyone

Just saying Hi- I will have to try not to log on till the evening either- I have decided all my problems (apart from my dog, but that is life) can be solved with one word...money.

I get lots of good ideas to make money, but I get distracted and waylaid- I need to apply myself a bit more. I am not lazy I don't think- I work in the shop hrs a day, 7 days a week, and have a home to clean and all the dogs to care for, so I do my bit but I need to get my Internet Marketing stuff back up and going to get me on top of things. It will also be a nice safety net if at the end of the year the shop has not been worth the while.

Hope you all have a lovely day and I'll check in this evening after I have done some work!

                    Morning Folks!
I hope you're all perky and well.

it will be nice to mix with the living again
It's been months since I did anything remotely like socialising. I go to an AA meeting on Mondays and I see my grandchildren once or twice a week (which is lovely) and that's it.
I've a big day on Saturday though.
Celtic v Rangers (BIG soccer match) on the TV at my ex BIL's place.
It'll be heaving with guys I haven't seen for a long time and they'll all be planning on getting legless. I was invited over which was nice. I haven't been asked anywhere since I got back to Scotland, so I though, why not? I'll not be drinking and it should be a good laugh, and I surely need some fun. It's been a while.

                      Hi Pops, all perky here!
I think you'll have a great time meeting up with the guys again. My advice would be to have an exit plan ready just in case you feel the need to leave...
You do need and deserve some fun, I know how hard it is to get back in the swing of things too. I have been out a few times, but its only really in the last couple of months that I have been totally comfortable with it.

Morning Starty, Bdd, Vogue, Limers, Marb, Mario and all to come. You all sound positive this morning, Starty it is only residual yuk and fear that you will get depressed again think 'I feel happy and well' Stop listening to the news and negative stuff just for the moment. Fill your space with positive vibrant stuff and people, it will make a difference. Just now u cannot afford to be brought down by somebody elses issues. So be selfish with your emotional self and take care right now. Mario, I am on 30 lengths I did 34 once! think I probably nearly collapsed after it so am slowly getting there so am off shortly to throw myself in. See ye all.

                          Thanks Starty,
I'm really OK with staying dry and I'm not undoing all my good work for anything. I'll be ready to go when the games over. It's a 12:30 kick off so I'll be back in the house for 3pm.
