I am 185cms, weigh 85 kgs and am in good shape (gym 3 times a week, a 5km run once a week and surf on weekends)
A six pack is usually nothing but after 8 days AF.. I'm on beer four now and feel drunk!

How are you doing with your drinking?

I think I rounded a corner in the last few weeks. My goal is to be AF and I had a drink last weekend. Before that my head was starting to accept that to be AF I have to stop drinking completely, and that point should be sooner than some random time in the future. After that drink last weekend I started to accept that my AF time has come. No glowing promises of a great healthy future. The house is full of drink and I haven't had a craving so far, I am sure that I won't survive the weekend without the urge but I am determined and feeling strong.

6 beers and I would be pretty drunk, 8 and I would have passed out. I am a slow drinker and it would often take 4 hours to drink 8. I never drink anything else but beer. I don't think I would cope on the harder stuff.

The day may come, where I too will decide AF is the only way for me...It's taken me 2 years to get to where I am now...It's all trial and error...But I will sort it out, I have no choice...

Aren't you glad we started drinking instead of trying heroin? Can you imagine?
