Angel, I want to say this to everyone. You are a marvel! I may have started this thread, but you have been the one to keep it going. We started from nothing and we have lots of people coming here now. Without you starting this thread most days, Angel when it was new, we probably wouldn't have it.

Pan, its great to see you again. I have been worried about you, but through all this you do sound strong my friend. 2 weeks off the benzos is amazing. I know for me and opiates, 3 months is what it took to be clear again. Give yourself some more time.

Just a thought from the Starfish Saver.

One day a man was walking along the beach when he noticed
a boy picking something up and gently throwing it into the ocean.

Approaching the boy, he asked, “What are you doing?”

The youth replied, “Throwing starfish back into the ocean.
The surf is up and the tide is going out. If I don’t throw them back, they’ll die.”

“Son,” the man said, “don’t you realize there are miles and miles of beach and hundreds of starfish?
You can’t make a difference!”

After listening politely, the boy bent down, picked up another starfish,
and threw it back into the surf. Then, smiling at the man, he said…”
I made a difference for that one.”

Hi Starts. Yes, I am going to go AF. I cannot drink. I can kid myself, but having that first taste again fools me into false beliefs. The benzos are not happening with me again. Getting off them is my first priority right now. They are so dangerous.

I am drinking right now and smoking. What a loser! But I am doing what I feel I need to do for me at present.

I'm trying to deal with the new neighbours who have totally changed my life as it was as per privacy. I just had a big talk with them, but they are being the way that new neighbours shouldn't be? Everything they say is right according to their right as property owners.
