Morning all.
Great to hear that you are feeling good today Mia, it makes Sundays all that more sweeter being AF.
Dave, do you think that your mother would be very upset that you won't visit?
Dragonfly, or anyone with some rain, please send it my way and I promise I will try to send the sun. Well into May and my grass, plants and trees are starting to die because we haven't had a good decent downpour since last bloody winter. Another glorious sunny day here, with no forecast of rain in the immediate future.
My kids did very well with their mother day gift, all lovelingly created at school. My daughter made a bracelet, which after some major adjustments will fit. My son gave me some laminated hand-prints, he is in kindy. I got a lovely ring that they bought with their dad.

Happy Mummy's Day to all the Mums...hagover free morning here too.
Dave, you were doing so well...you'd only had 1 beer when I signed off. Oh well, I know it well...like something takes over and you just keep drinking...UGH! Drnk lots of water, a squeeze of lemon is good...and green tea is full of antioxidants that are helpful...no-one seems offended so don't sweat it.
G & Tawny - thanks for the well wishes. G I'd be well pleased if my boys grew up to be like you. I got a box of choccies, a card & some lotto tickets (wouldn't it be nice to win!!) and we've just been to the sushi train for an early lunch. Now I should be cleaning the walls and doing other cleaning up & out stuff but I need a cuppa first.

OK, I've just read through the last 10 PAGES of yesterdays thread!! You people make me laugh.
Dave your birthday is the same as my sister - first day of Summer, and she loves the sun.
And, was it a full moon last night?? Yes, I've noticed things get a little hairy around full moon...and PMT...and moving...and, and...

Dave I hope you feel better soon, I have read back on yesturdays thread and to me you did not upset anyone, take care everyone love ronnie xx:dancin: enguin:

And Happy Mothers day to you mums too.
Ronnie, I am sorry your hub was being an ass but at least your boys made you feel special?

Afternoon
Dave - I was just thinking back and I did a really strange red wine binge after my first week AF - projectile red vomit et al. That led to my 30 days, and now I'm such a lightweight that I can only do one or two glasses. I just hope you're feeling better.
I'm having a really nice Mothers day so far. Mr Sweats got me a bottle of dry Vermouth some olives and some Martini glasses - altogether now *HOW INAPPROPRIATE* Lol. I've had coffee and croissants and flowers, and the boys gave me a kiss and some new sports socks. We're going to have crispy duck pancakes and watch the Grandprix later. I feel very blessed and special. (But still have a bloody essay to finish...)

Hey Betts, your day sounds lovely! Sometimes people do have a wonderful knack of buying the worst gifts dont they. I guess we expect them to be mind readers :-)
I have some paperwork to finish too, and I am using every avoidance tactic in the book. I keep looking at it, get stuck, leave it , come here, get coffee, go back, oh the list goes on and on. If only I just sat down and DID it, I would be much happier!Living now and not just existing since 9th July 2008
