He hasn't given an update since the 8th...today is the 11th????? Is he ok , anyone heard from him?

He is doing really well Brit, I put a thread out a couple of days ago, because he was worried that he couldnt respond to everyone.
I have been speaking to him on the telephone and he is feeling very positive.
He has real problems getting on the internet for any length of time as he has to use the library and the time is limited. During that time he is searching for work and trying to find out about benefits.
He has applied for some jobs and is very hopeful that something will come up soon.
He is still staying at the homeless shelter and there are people there that are helping him with food, advice and support.
Thank you for asking about him. I cannot tell you how grateful he is for the love and support from all of you.
